When the GTN is set to VLOC mode, the NAV1 radio steers the autopilot. In both cases: with the autopilot set to NAV. Edited May 28, 20197 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

It is a little broader than this though and further explained in the RXP GTN/GNS V2 User's Manual. TL;DR: whenever a shared resource, the master device is the one 'owning' it.
