June 7, 20197 yr Nice, I did the Barcelona-Madrid trip in the opposite, by Trafalgar Motorcoach in 2017. Worth visiting when in Madrid is Toledo, and when in Barcelona the Olympic fountain, and a day trip to the Montserrat Monastery just for the scenery. My coach went up from one direction and went back to Barcelona in the other direction for a great view of the Montserrat massif from all directions. The Monastery has a gondola ride back down into the valley below Montserrat.....
