I did a little research on the topic about France and Belgium Empires in Africa. I found that, it is in French but I reckon some of you do understand it 😏 ( I've just browsed it so far)

Sorry, Dominique, my knowledge of French ls limited to a few words such as  bon voyage... donated to English..🙂...

But, seriously, another great find! A forgotten part of history, especially in the context of African aviation...many detailed maps and full of vintage aircraft pictures. And, of course, the period of coverage, 1911-1940, is highly significant from the global perspective too...

(not sure, if the modern on-line translator tools can work on this...)

Most interesting, Dominique, many thanks for the link! Gives me a chance to brush up on my French 😉. On page 62 is a map from 1926, which shows their flight route from Algier in Morocco all the way across the continent down to Madagascar
