Hi,

maybe a stupid question, but how can I set that I'm acting as Pilot Monitoring during the flight? Unfortunately didn't find anything in the manual yet  :(

Hi Daniel,

Line up on the runway.

Mode should say "TAKEOFF".

Speak "You have control".

PM will say say: "I have control.... ready? ...... takeoff".

Then he'll advance the throttles and off you go into the wild blue yonder.

Note: This only works in Voice Control.

 

Hey Bryan, i did say to him you have control however i didn't get a response on takeoff, would it have something to do wit the CM 1/2 select in the set up?

CM 1 or 2 makes no difference.

What Mode were you in?  What did it say on the FS2Crew Main Panel?  It should say "Takeoff".

And, most importantly, did you see "You have control" in the Green Bar?  That's probably it.

Was in Takeoff Roll i believe 

That's too late.

You probably said "takeoff" yourself.

Try again, but just line up, and say "you have control".

You don't say "takeoff".. the PM does.

What's the best way to time the actual throttles with what the PM will do? Do I need to move my physical ones at all at any moment of the flight when I'm PM?

I just leave my throttles in the idle position.

Don't try to move your physical throttles.

Moving them will likely mess up our attempt to place the throttles in the right detent.
