July 28, 20196 yr Author Hi Bryan, I will try with the pax model and see what happens then. Br. Kyrre Andersen <a href="https://www.virtualnorwegian.net/"><img src="https://www.virtualnorwegian.net/signatures/NAX12641.png" alt="" /></a>
July 30, 20196 yr Author Hi Bryan, Yesterday I tried a flight with the passenger version. Still the same issue with the flaps callout during the before takeoff check. Flaps 20 was briefed for and is shown on upper EICAS. The only connection with my joystick is a button assignment for increasing / decreasing the flaps setting (via FSUIPC). But the button assignment shouldn't really affect the flaps setting when it's not touched and the EICAS is showing a steady indication.. I also tried a different panel state this time (the default panel state with the engines running). Br. August 11, 20196 yr Author Hello Bryan, The issue with the "double check that please" from the FO now seems to be resolved. The likely culprit was FSUIPC, since I previously used FSUIPC to assign a CH throttle quadrant axis to the flaps. I later reassigned the same axis to control all the thrust reversers. I found out after I deleted those entries related to the 747-400 profile in FSUIPC.ini, then the issue disappeared. Maybe there was some setting lingering in the ini file that caused the FO to believe that the flaps wasn't in the correct position. Br.
