Will FS2004 run on Windows 10?   It ran well on 8.1.

yes it will run.  Just need the FS9.1 patch.

I'm running it in Windows 10. Somehow, it runs better in windowed mode. You'll need the so-called No-CD patch. I understand this authentication method was disabled for Win10.

I have it installed,  I just cant get it to start.    So were does one get this patch?

Ok. I have downloaded the FS9.1 patch.    I read the instructions,  but I will still need help.

I did get FS 2002 installed on my HP lap-top and it runs fine.  In fact, It is the only version  of FS I can fly right now!

Thank's  for the help.

1. Install Fs2004 into C:/     NOT into it's default C:/Program Files directory

2. Install the 9.1 patch

3. Install the 9.1 nocd patch

4. Right-click the desktop icon & select Properties

5. Select the Compatibility tab & select XP from the pull down menu

6. At the bottom, Select Run as Administrator

7. Run the sim from the desktop icon.

FS9 is already installed. I see the FS9 patch in the folder.       so do I need to start over and reinstall?

Ok, in what directory is FS9 installed?

Is the nocd patch installed?

A new install is unneccessary!!!!!!

1. Copy & paste the whole sim folder into C:/ (Do not delete the old install as yet!)

1a. Delete the existing desktop shortcut

1b. Select the FS9.exe in the NEW folder, & send to desktop

2. Install the 9.1 update if not already done!

3. Install the 9.1 nocd patch, if not already done!

4. Right-click the desktop icon & select Properties

5. Select the Compatibility tab & select XP from the pull down menu

6. At the bottom, Select Run as Administrator

7. Run the sim from the desktop icon.

If you really want to do a new install, you can, but the above way works perfectly!

Let me know if you have any issues!
