Featured Replies

On Monday 5th of August this incredible circumnavigation of the world in a Spitfire begins.  These screenshots feature Bladerunner900's amazing repaint of the A2A Simulations MkIIa Supermarine Spitfire

The Spitfire and the Mosquiter are the two most beautiful aircraft ever made by Britain...

I heard the radio interview with one of those guys (forget which one) and IMHO all this harebrained stunt does is risk an extremely rare aircraft.  IMO (no, not humble this time) a complete waste.  Shame on those guys.  Ego at its worst.

The screenies and repaint are nice though.

Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.

An extremely sharp-looking and beautiful plane, and marvelous images here!

What a superb looking plane!!

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Lovely Spit!

A long time ago I made a balsa flying model Spitfire and painted it silver with invasion stipes.

The name I painted on her nose was "British Steel".
