August 9, 20196 yr As the title suggests, I don’t seem to get the rain falling for long periods of time. It just goes on and off every couple of minutes. I wonder if it’s something to do with active sky, p3d or perhaps something with my setup.
August 9, 20196 yr You can get bands of rain in a weather system. It happens in real life. I think somebody asked a similar question in the last year. I guess if you always get banded rain showers, then that could be a problem. August 9, 20196 yr Author To be honest, I cannot recall the last time I had it raining from the start and until the plane breaks through the cloud layer- and vice versa (when landing). Wonder if others share that impression.
August 9, 20196 yr Try the 'Gray and rainy' P3D weather theme starting at KVPS. You should have rain for a long period of time. If not hopefully it would help to narrow the possible causes.
