August 16, 20196 yr Flying from Zweisimmen near GStaad to near Interlaken.... I was in Gstaad only once, in 1982, on my way from Luzern to Geneva. Sadly it was cloudy while I was there, so I did not get to see much until we descended from Gstaad towards the Rhone Valley in our motorcoach, then we broke clear of the clouds. John

August 16, 20196 yr Sorry, but I don't see it anywhere, but never mind. Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do. August 16, 20196 yr UPS, my mistake, now I see it. I've never noticed that before. I was pretty sure it was XP11 with orthophotos. I do own AF2, just don't have the Switzerland scenery, but it sure does look good. Now we only need for Aerofly to get some descent systems in their aircrafts. August 16, 20196 yr These are all really beautiful pictures...from AFS2! I, especially, love those green valleys, dotted with houses, against the backdrop of the Alps mountains!

My biggest quibble with AeroflyFS2 is its autopilot will disable itself if a flight plan is running, at some point during the simulation. Then you have to restart the autopilot. I believe it is a joystick polling issue, because trim settings, etc, if applied to the joystick, or even the main stick itself, can turn off autopilots. But when the autopilot is on, I keep my hands off the joystick, except for panning around. Aerofly needs null zones, so does Xplane, P3D/FSX has always had them. Second biggest quibble is there is no way to record flights for playback later. There is instant replay if you hit the pause button, but the length is predetermined at about 20 mins or so. I have a video in the videos forum, a couple I believe, of Aerofly in motion. My fav video (you will have to scroll down) is my final approach into Phoenix, because the FMS worked flawlessly on that one flight and brought me in all the way from Santa Ana to Phoenix, flying downwind, base and final until minimums, then I took over the landing manually since it was VFR. I even have some theme music on that video from David Benoit/David Pack, who were the kings of American and Canadian rock and roll back then because of their relationship with the 80's music keyboardist and producer from Canada, David Foster who was a deal maker even for the band Queen. August 17, 20196 yr I was tempted to watch your video untill you mentioned you have music in it. I just don't like music in videos, but prefer to hear the music from the engines instead 🙂 Jorn Lundtoft I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do.
