August 23, 20196 yr It's been a long time since I started using ( proudly ) ELITE Flight Simulator, and one of the main reasons is that, albeit having outdated graphics for World views, unless you couple it with P3D / ESP, it does have the most advanced simulation of aircraft and systems on the included fleets, up to and including the latest release v9 XTS. Now, sometimes in the past and regarding the implementation of PT-6 free-running turbines and specially aircraft like the Beechcraft B200, I insisted that Fuel Flow shouldn't vary with RPM adjustments for constant throttle, and condition, and assuming staright & level flight. In this technical video where the author talks about the Governor test in the B200, inflight, you can perfectly see the FF needles stay put as he varies the RPM considerably! It's very difficult to find such an example in youtube because either the camera is not focused on the intruments, or the image quality is not that good. This is how it goes in ELITE's B200, and not on X-Plane or most of the FSX / P3D add-ons... You can skip to 1:20 and watch from there on... August 23, 20196 yr They have a whole series of videos featuring their C90. Nope, MS flight sims, at least through FSX/P3D, really skip a lot when it comes to starting any sort of engine. They really skip a lot on aircraft systems too. As real as it gets? Not without a lot of third party add-on work.
