Today I installed 2.5.20 and when I go to GTN settings XP11 crashes.  I had to uninstall 2.5.20 and then reinstall 2.5.19.1 and then everything worked correctly.  I tried uninstalling 2.5.19.1 and reinstalled 2.5.20 and the issue returned.  So now I am running 2.5..19.1.  

As an update I found this issue also.  After uninstalling 2.5.20 and trying to reinstall 2.5.19.1 I found I still had the issue.  I tried uninstalling 2.5.19.1 and checked the plugins folder in XP11 and found the 64 folder still existed under the rxpGTN folder.  I was not able to delete.  Had to reboot and was then able to delete the folder.  On reinstalling 2.5.19.1 I found I had to first turn off the GTN 750 in XP11 and then turn it back on and then I could get to settings.  But when I start the GTN 750 it still shows version 2.5.20.  How do I fix that.  I shouldn't have to uninstall both the GTN software and trainer software, delete all folders and then reboot and reinstall.  Things shouldn't be that complicated.

I am running steam version 11.36r2 of XP11.

Also I am running the Nvidia 436.02 driver and do not have the flickering, but then again I am not running SLI.

Things look complicated only because you're trying to downgrade the program. Instead, it would be better to cure the issue.

Can you please post the content of the RXP log files?

In addition can you please run the following program and report the crash report data related to X-Plane?https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/app_crash_view.html

Also are you running any Post Processing FX tool like Reshade or similar?

What Video Card? What driver version?

Since I already downgraded the GTN software and it's working I would just as soon leave it as is.

I have downloaded app crash so if you could tell me where the rpx log files reside, perhaps I will install 2.5.20 tomorrow and troubleshoot.  Thank you.

For AppCrashView: just launch it and peruse the crash list. These are stored on your hard and can be reviewed after the fact.

As for the RXP log files, please see the RXP GTN User's Manual "Troubleshooting" chapter for file/path.

Even if you've downgraded, I'm very much interested in the AppCrashView data, because otherwise, we won't be able to help you find out what went wrong on your system neither we will be able to correct a bug in our product if any.

I am using xEnviro 1.12 and I also use Active Sky XP with an xVision preset.  Running a GTX 1080 TI 11G video card and Nvidia 436.02 driver.

The manual isn't any help because the folders it indicates that should be in the my documents folder do not exist.

While waiting for the AppCrashView data, there is a bug in Nvidia 436.02 (as it seems):

 

The other plugins you're using shouldn't be a problem.

I am not experiencing any flashing after the installation of the 436.02 driver.  Everything is working the same as the previous driver.  Also I do not use SLI.

I ran appcrash but did not see anything for x plane 11.

I reverted back to Nvidia driver 431.60 to see if that changed anything.  It did not.

I also went into plugin admin and turned off everything I could only leaving SASL, librain, and rxpGTN checked.  Same issue.

I checked the event viewer and there are no events regarding the crash of XP11.

Is there any other crash report shown in AppCrashView, like GTN Simulator.exe or anything else?

And just to make sure, the GTN is working fine but it is only when opening the settings window it fails?

Can you please edit the RealityXP.GTN.ini file in the aircraft folder adding the following lines in the [GTN_750_1] section:

LogTrainer = 7
...

As documented in the User's Manual this will enable useful diagnostic features written in the rxpGtnSim.dll.log file when you use the GTN in X-Plane.

Hi I have 2 xplane installs one for VR one for regular use. 

My VR install crashes every time I try to access reality xp ui (settings)

I have tried this:

-reinstalled xplane from scratch.

-copied working xplane and duplicated it to a different drive

-reinstalled rxp 3 times.

This happens on all aircraft installed and I don't know what else to do

My xplane is installed into d: (both)  E: X-Plane 11 and E: X-Plane 11 VR

I have just download the latest XP Gns750 and install with the latest trainer

when select settings from the xplane menu, xplane crashes to desktop
