Cessna 182 throttle position?

My throttle in Carendo Cessna 182  is closed when pulled out and full open when pushed in.Is this correct?I assign and calibrate with FSUIPC.Thank you.Ron

That is correct. Push it in to go, pull it out to stop. 

I think it would be weird had they designed it the other way around where you pull the throttle out to go and push it in to slow down.

AFAIR Italian aircraft had the throttles moving in the opposite direction in some of their pre-WWII aircraft, since this movement is similar to the throttle movement on a motorbike.

I took the summer off from FS and realized my mistake after posting.Thinking pitch and mixture were all the way in at startup so should throttle.Duh.Ron
