Push it in to go, pull it out to stop. I think it would be weird had they designed it the other way around where you pull the throttle out to go and push it in to slow down. September 28, 20196 yr AFAIR Italian aircraft had the throttles moving in the opposite direction in some of their pre-WWII aircraft, since this movement is similar to the throttle movement on a motorbike. Edited September 28, 20196 yr by FDEdev
