A350 Cockpit Question

Just wondering if someone could tell me what those two strange looking bulge things are either side of the throttle levers:

Officially it's called a Cursor Control Device (CCD), but basically it's a trackball.

Palm rests with scroll wheels and I think a tracking ball. Believe they're called KCCU (Keyboard Cursor Control Unit).

Ah, ok, that makes sense. I guess as most photos are taken from this angle, the actual 'working part' is never in view.
