I have a problem...When ever I hover my mouse over a button in the VC or the 2d panel, the tool tip comes up...and right underneith it is a screenshot taken about 30 seconds prior...Any idea on what causes this? Dan,I've had that problem for quite a while now and I believe there is no cure for this and it is related to NVIDIA cards (not quite sure though). Yes this bug has been around in FS9 for some time now with no apparent fix apart from turning off tooltips - latest nvidia drivers certainly don't help. Even turning off tooltips is only a partial work around as you still get the same effect from pop up windows and windowed gauges and panels unless you move them to a second monitor. However the bug doesn't seem to be present in FSX.Bruceb

This bug is definitely in FSX.Although, I must say, I didn't notice it before installing ActiveSky 6.5 and FSUIPC last night. I might do some testing in this regard.

Anyone told ACES?

I've had this problem since FS9. I've posted about this before. I went through several graphics cards, drivers, and settings, clean installs, no windows updates, FS9 patch in/out, bios settings... I've tried everything. ATI cards don't do this. It's a problem with Antialiasing. If you turn this off, it will go away. Turning off tooltips alleviates part of the problem, but is not a complete fix. You'll still get the popup problem. In FS9 this made no difference, however in FSX, I notice the problem goes away in Full Screen. The problem exists in Intel and AMD, only Nvidia cards, and ALL drivers, even tested beta drivers. I need tooltips because it displays data, where sometimes it's difficult to read the gauge.We definately need ACES to get involved in this, as I was hoping they would have known about this issue, and fixed it in this version. It may be a directX or Nvidia card issue, and not with Microsoft. I have CaptSim C-130 and it's unflyable due to this problem, yet PSS B777 doesn't do it. Go figure!Jim
