September 12, 200619 yr I was just trying to figure out a way to better handle throttle and conditioner levers. Im going to try and explain this and hopefully i wont lose everyone lol I use a joystick as my control, now i only have one throttle on it, so I was wondering is there any way to assign a button that I can hit and it switches the one throotle to control the conditioner levers, then i could hit this assgned button and it switches back to controling throttle? It just really sucks to have to use ctrl F1 or ctrl F2.I dont think this is posiible but maybe someone has a suggestion? Thanks. September 12, 200619 yr Depends on the stick and what Software comes with it for KeyMapping. But usually the throttle is just that, the throttle. Check your software and see if there is a way to map it to something else when a Button is pressed (I know my X45 uses a Pinky as an alternate key set, but doubt it would affect the Throttle).
September 12, 200619 yr That's to bad, but i kinda thought that it probably wasnt do-able. just being hopeful i guess lol. well back to flying. I use Home and End for prop, Page up and Page Dwn for Mixture - or condition levers in turboprops. You are not restricted to the default keypresses in FS, you can change them if you want.Allcott

September 13, 200619 yr Author I haven't tried but it might just be possible using the mode selector on the X45 throttle set up via the saitek profile editor. Bernard
