Landing Checklist bug?

Featured Replies

I usually fly with the UK crew, all fine.
Today I used the DE guys and on the landing checklist item „auto thrust“ the PF replied „OFF“ although it was on.
(button control).

Can you confirm?

I don't recall this happening before .424 ... so maybe it has something to do with that. But it's strange that it's apparently random. I first thought it might just be a messed up sound file with the DE recordings...

Will keep observing (+ recording) on my next flights...

The way it works is like this for the code:

If the Autothrust Light on the FCU is 'bright', FS2Crew thinks the Autothrust is "ON", and the PF responds accordingly.

If the light on the button is not bright, then FS2Crew thinks Autothrust is "Off".

So check the light.. is it "bright" or not bright.

thanks bryan, in fact that could be the reason! if I understand you correctly:

are you talking about the annunciator lights dim/bright option (overhead INT LT panel)?
if so, you are right, I recently set those to "DIM" during my approaches.... I guess that would make the A/TH button not "bright".

That would explain it.

There's no SDK for the Labs, so we have to use alternative, creative methods to try to figure out what's going on in the sim.

Roger. Good to know that we should keep the lights bright.
