October 6, 200619 yr I am so with you here! But I'm not quitting--just yet! It's been a long hard road for 8-9 years, but very interesting. But I ain't never doin' this again, no siree. This is my last PC for FS and then that's it for me too.FS9 actually runs ever better for me. I just added 1GB of RAM and I'm getting a new video card--7900 GTO--shortly. And maybe triple monitors too. But I am not getting FSX for at least 1 year and maybe never. I never want to dick around with an MS OS ever again and never want to edit any files or a/c again. I've managed hundreds of PC and sim tech "incidents", prolly like you have over the years. I'm sick to death of it all. My set-up works great but if it crashes and burns, that's it. I'm gone too.I hope my PC lasts 1-3 years though. I'll be happy. But I kinda wish I had the guts you have to actually quit. I can't right now. I'm too addicted--I just need help!Enjoy your retirement. And keep playing music. I've been playing more too this year than in the past 25. Hey, it's amazing how musicians there are who sim!Congratulations!JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
