I'm done

I am so with you here! But I'm not quitting--just yet! It's been a long hard road for 8-9 years, but very interesting. But I ain't never doin' this again, no siree. This is my last PC for FS and then that's it for me too.FS9 actually runs ever better for me. I just added 1GB of RAM and I'm getting a new video card--7900 GTO--shortly. And maybe triple monitors too. But I am not getting FSX for at least 1 year and maybe never. I never want to dick around with an MS OS ever again and never want to edit any files or a/c again. I've managed hundreds of PC and sim tech "incidents", prolly like you have over the years. I'm sick to death of it all. My set-up works great but if it crashes and burns, that's it. I'm gone too.I hope my PC lasts 1-3 years though. I'll be happy. But I kinda wish I had the guts you have to actually quit. I can't right now. I'm too addicted--I just need help!Enjoy your retirement. And keep playing music. I've been playing more too this year than in the past 25. Hey, it's amazing how musicians there are who sim!Congratulations!JS

>So you're done, So what ! Either you want the simulation and>the costs associated with it, at it's finest, or you don't.>It's a technological innovation. It's your life. I'm just not>sure of the motives you have in making this rather pointless>announcement to the world. Who cares what you like and don't>like to do ? They're you own priorities to choose. So go>choose a differnet one. Big deal.>>Bob (Lecanto, Fl)>>I do, it's nice sharing views and opinions with guys that you feel that you have known for ages. That's what a community is all about. On here we are all 'In the club'. It's always sad to lose someone.
