November 26, 20196 yr Hello! Anyone tried the old LINDA module with the new CRJ? Thank you! Klaus Schmitzer i7-14700KF 5.6GHz Water Cooled /// ZOTAC RTX 4070 TI Super 16GB /// 32GB RAM DDR5 /// Win11 /// SSDs only DCS - XP12 - MSFS2020
November 27, 20196 yr I have just received a copy of the CRJ Pro from Aerosoft. At this moment I can not say that the old module will work with the CRJ Pro. Due to the naming conventions being very similar I have had to delete the old aircraft and LINDA is not locating the new one correctly. An update to the LINDA GUI is likely to be required. November 27, 20196 yr Initial testing shows that the existing Aerosoft CRJ-700-900 module v0.6 beta works with the new Aerosoft CRJ Professional release. It may be necessary to uninstall the old CRJ add-on but this may not be essential. I found it impossible to distinguish which aircraft add-on was which - both old and new have the same naming conventions. Additional work is required by me to correctly read the new add-ons.xml file for use with the LINDA New Module functionality. Aerosoft has added 2 simObject references instead of the normal single reference. Do not try to create a new module at this time. December 25, 20196 yr Andrew, or anyone, sometimes the display on my VRInsight Boeing MCP Combo II displays for SPD, HDG, ALT, and V/S fall out of sync with what is displayed in the CRJ Pro virtual cockpit. Is there a way to force these back into sync? For example, the CRJ Pro heading in the virtual cockpit may display a heading of 150 but the VRInsight MCP-II display shows a heading of 120. Thank you in advance, Ed Edward Smoker Sr.

I welcome any feedback on the LINDA Support sub-forum as I don't normally fly the CRJ.
