have my default state set to cold and dark. In fs2crew, FO power up set to yes, FO prelim set to YES, FO SUP proc set to yes. However when I start the PF he turns nothing on jumps out and does the walk around leaving me cold and dark brrrrr 🙂

Is the FO moving any switches?

 

I heard a few clicks, but not sure what he was doing, does not turn on the battery or anything though.

Did you have the GPU connected?

I also have the exact same problem. (the external power light is illuminated on the overhead panel)

Same over here...

Except that the FO goes for the walkaround in the first few seconds instead at 22 minutes left.

Okay, guys, I looked at this.

It wasn't a bug in the U version.

If using Cold and Dark with the GPU pre-connected, you need to set this option to YES.

No worries, it's an easy option to miss.

 

I confirmed - working now with the config option enabled.  Thank you for clarifying.
