October 9, 200619 yr Actually he's wrong. The Nvidia G80 won't have unified shaders - it will be fixed. The ATI R600 will have unfified shaders but won't be until later.

October 9, 200619 yr Vista is DX9, with DX10 support for some applications, such as fsX.My X850, with only 16 pixel shaders and 4 vertex shaders with shader model 2.0b and a core clock of 540mhz, far bellow the X1900 series runs fsX amazingly. It looks and feels better than fs9 in every single way, people who complain about fsX don't know how to even set it up.Oh, and DX10 cards will tear through DX9 applications.Article from Daily tech:NVIDIA
