December 28, 20196 yr Yesterday I installed the latest versions of P3Dv4, ASP4 abd the FSLabs 320 and 319, in preparation for my next acquisition, the 321... Before installing and using ASP4, I had no problems with correct ILS frequency identification on a flight with a short route from LPMT to LPPT that I usually run to test FSLabs and P3D and tune my systems. When ASP4 is installed, and run on the same PC, if it is started before P3dv4.5 starts and I select the FSLabs A319 or A320, the initialization sequence freezes and the only "solution" is to move to an external view and then back to cockpit view - then the sequence starts until the aircraft simulation is "ready for departure"... But then these weird problems with the correct ILS ( or NDB ) frequencies not being tuned start to happen. On the final approach I see ILS2 on the ND although in the FMGC CDU I see the correct ILI ( 109.1 ) and it's heading set for ILS1... but this does never get tuned. I believe that if I start P3Dv4.5 first, then load the FSLabs aircraft and wait for the initialization sequence to end, an only then start ASP4 the problem doesn't happen ( ? ) Any of you with the same experience ? Any suggestions ? If this "incompatibility" happens than what else can be also affected by ASP4 when run together with the FSLabs airbuses in my installs ? Any suggestions really appreciated! Thx! December 28, 20196 yr I had some strange issues with ASP4 a while back, and it turned out that I didn't have all of the variants of Simconnect installed...ASP4 was unable to find the one it needed (FSX SP2/Acceleration) and it was (without warning or any indication) reverting to a different version and that was causing problems. So make sure you have installed all of the legacy Simconnect versions included with P3D--there should be one for FSX RTM, SP1, and SP2/Accel, in addition to the P3D version installed when you install the SDK. They don't overwrite each other when multiple versions are installed--they coexist and function side-by-side with each other. December 28, 20196 yr OK well i have some good new, well it could be. Well follow the link....https://forums.flightsimlabs.com/index.php?/topic/23571-resolvedafter-updating-pc-to-w10-my-fsl-will-not-install-correctly/ Or the very short version, delete ASP4 and DL the full new version. NOT the upgrade. Full new version. Edited December 28, 20196 yr by Nyxx David Murden. December 28, 20196 yr Author Thank you guys! This was a fresh install of P3Dv4.5 latest version + FSLabs A320 / 19 latest version + Full ASP4 latest version. I will follow Scott's suggestion and your link too David. All of the Best! December 28, 20196 yr Try loading a flight with ASP4 not running that’s how I found ASP4 was the problem. Like you P3D was a new install. Edited December 28, 20196 yr by Nyxx David Murden. December 28, 20196 yr Author Ok, it's working now without quirks, and the solution was to install the simconnect fsx-acceleration version that comes in one of the folders of the p3d install. Now, irrespective of the launch sequence of ASP4 and P3dV4.5 + FSLabs, I never encountered that strange "loss of navaid database coherency", at least in the 4 sequences I tried. Will keep testing and will report back in this thread. Again, thank you for your suggestions, Bob and David!
