RJBB Screen Flashing

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I remember that I have started a thread here and asked for the screening flashing issue of RJBB scenery. Somebody raised a solution (i.e. deleting certain files) that resolved the issue, but I cannot find it even in my forum profile. Does anyone have it saved?

Anson

Works for RJBB also.

Hi Anson,

I did a fly to BDO's RJBB Kansai without the ORBX vector files and saw the exact same flickering. After a bit of try and error, I could finally identify GSE_anim.BGL as the faulty file. So, rename GSE_anim.BGL in BDO's Kansai to off and test if this resolves the problem.

It seems that the only faulty ORBX vector file for Japan is 8519_OBJ_ExtrusionBridges_Railway.bgl (acknowledged by ORBX) and the flickering at BDO's RJBB Kansai is triggered by GSE_anim.BGL.

Cheers,
Christoph

Best,
Christoph

I also had the same problem and the fix works for me. However, it seems like the dynamic lighting is disabled as a result.

Is it also the case for you?
