January 17, 20206 yr .. if you do not like the V1.1. PBR textures, it is nice to still have the originals to go back to!! Bert
January 17, 20206 yr Author V1.0. had no PBR textures, V1.1. does. On my GTX 1070, PBR textured airplanes are not antialiased well, resulting in slightly jagged lines on the fuselage.. This may be unique to my setup / settings.. I use 4XSSAA on a 1080 screen. So, for me, the non PBR textures look better. Bert

January 18, 20206 yr Bert, I also run a GTX1070 and AA set at 4XSSAA. In P3D v4.5 .(HF2), I do not have any issues with the PBR textures. I do run resolution at 2560 x 1440 (not sure if that is a factor or not) Quote

Cheers, Rob. With V4.5. HF2, the antialiasing problem is gone... but the leading edges of the wings and engine nacelles are no longer aluminum, but dark blue.. just like the screenshots above.. is this normal? Bert
January 21, 20206 yr Author 1 hour ago, Rob_Ainscough said: Dark blue with be a result of 3rd party shaders. Cheers Rob Ouch, do I need to dump my Tomatoshade which makes the environment look so much better? Edit: Nope, that was not it... Cleared Shaders folder, let P3D rebuild it, same airplane paint.. maybe it is black, rather than dark blue.. Other than that.. the PBR textures look just great Edited January 21, 20206 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
January 21, 20206 yr It's a default variant. Bert, here is my look at the same livery. Using PTA and shaders from Gennadiy (kiwi_biplane), GTX 1070, 4XSSAA, https://ibb.co/jRPRWS8 Quote

Default shaders or not, same thing.. wonder what I screwed up.. Bert

January 21, 20206 yr Using 441.87 installed about 2 weeks ago. A few weeks ago, I was having some shader issues and thought my shaders were screwed up. I uninstalled the P3D client and reinstalled just as a "shot in the dark". I then reinstalled PTA 2.67 and backed up the default shaders. I haven't had any issues since performing this. Quote

I believe PTA changes 5 files? But don't quote me ... Cheers, Rob. I use Tomatoshade, but even with default shaders I got the black edges.. Looks fine, but not "right".. At least with HF2, the antialiasing issues have disappeared, so I am making progress.. Bert
