I know that there are lots of cockpit sounds like the clicking of the rotating knobs that adjust altitude or heading etc. I have never heard these sounds and I wonder how is that possible, since I think that these sounds do exist inside the simulator. Meaning FSX-SE for me.

January 25, 20206 yr No such sounds in the default aircraft, but yes, they can be added. cockpitsounds_V2.zip should help you achieve some sound in an otherwise audibly sterile environment. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
