MSFS 2020 included with Xbox Game Pass

It won't be listed there yet because it isn't out and game pass games change over time anyway. It is definitely on game pass for pc at release followed by Xbox later. This was officially announced at the very first reveal they did at E3 last year.

So if you know it isn't listed then why bring it up as a reason why it might be hard to know for sure if it will be on game pass or not? Current game pass list is clearly not a useful metric.

I was just reinforcing that point to illustrate that there is no vagueness and it is not hard to know for sure as it was already announced ages ago as per my above post.

Microsoft has said a couple of times that it would be coming to their PC Gamepass.

Ok - so MSFS is coming to game pass

Why did a thread need to be created to reiterate that?

It seems that MSFS will be included for no additional cost with an Xbox game pass subscrpition.

You might want to learn how the Game Pass works, because this is absolutely nothing new.
You pay a certain amount of money for the subscription, you are given unlimited access to lots of videogames.

The GamePass also let you buy certain games with a discount (and that way they are yours to keep forever)

We've known it was on Game Pass since the very first trailer.  Technically we've known since before the trailer was even over, because all of Microsoft's games go to Game Pass.
