February 1, 20206 yr Just wondering, will the Dash-8 also get a modernised interface and the more flexible speech recognition in future, like the 737 NGXu , 747 and FSLabs ? Might be interesting for the future anyway, with the Q300 in the works at Majesticsoftware. If that should happen, could you get rid of the annoying background sound or make it much quieter or even better, configurable ? It really gets repetitive during 20 min preflight and I always get the impression I have a hyperactive child sitting beside me, permanently busy with crinkling paper. Fortunately this is not present in the newer FSCrew products. 1. A320 home cockpit (FSLabs, Skalarki), P3Dv5 Main PC : I7-12700K, GTX3080Ti 2. FSLabs A3xx, P3Dv5. February 1, 20206 yr Commercial Member Flex speech recognition is coming for Brit and Oz users like what we did in the NGX U, FS Labs and QOTS II. I assume you're referring to the looping pax boarding sound? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

I thought it starts after the Copilot returns from his walkaround. It sounds as if someone is permanently working/crinkling with paper. 1. February 1, 20206 yr Commercial Member Hmmmm, maybe that's not the pax boarding sound. You sure it's coming from FS2Crew? B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
February 1, 20206 yr Commercial Member There are some paper rustling sounds I think... but only a couple. It wouldn't loop. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
February 6, 20206 yr Author Wow, that was fast, new version already. Thanks. But these background sounds are still in, start approx. when the Copilot returns from walkaround. Last around 1 minute and then the whole gets repeated around 20 times during the Preflight. These sounds are very loud relative to the Copilot voice. I don't really understand it's purpose other than disturb. So often repeated sounds are not immersive at all, at least not for me. This is not present in the later Addons like PMDG 737NGXu or FSLabs. Why in the Dash-8 ? However, thanks anyway ! 1. A320 home cockpit (FSLabs, Skalarki), P3Dv5 Main PC : I7-12700K, GTX3080Ti 2. FSLabs A3xx, P3Dv5. Gigabyte Aorus 17G YC, I7-10700K, RTX 3080

Are you saying there is no more background sound coming from FS2Crew now ? If it's not coming from the Copilot, then it makes me want to ask for a close cockpit door switch 🙂 MIke 1.
