Have AMD HD 6970 cards x3
9 monitors, in three Eyefinity groups of three monitors per group
Running Windows 7 and FSX.
FSX displays, 
Top group overhead panel, right wing view, Left wing view.
Middle group , Top view of Virtual Cockpit out through the windscreen.down to the shelf
Bottom group, bottom View of virtual cockpit instruments panel below the shelf.
This makes up full cockpit view, from ahead round to 90 degrees each side.
Frame rate 17 too low. Need 23.
 

Replacing my old AMD CARDS With  Nvidia cards Will it work as above ,

Set the Nvidia Surround into three groups each group has its own GPU. Running a group of  3 Monitors per card in Nvidia Surround ,
 Can it be done , Will get the extra FPS .

The views consist of  FSX virtual cockpit stretched over  the bottom group lined up to show the instruments 

Then another view of VC undocked dragged to the middle group set up with the top windscreen view.

The next is three windows, Overhead Pans, VC turned 90 degrees one for left wing and one for right wing.

So full picture.

Nvidia say Surround can only handle 5 monitors!   I find this hard to believe, I dought if there have ever tried it,

Any reply’s as to Nvidia Surround set ups., Simplicity we are only using 3 GPUs each one having its own Surround 

 

I can’t afford to buy 3 top card and find out it can do what my AMD cards are doing now some 10 years old.

It "stats" Virtual Reality Hardware. Not Hardware and VR.
