Remarks such as "it had better have a windshield rain effect" reveal that the condemnation can take place even without the published product specifications having been read. Presumably it will not be long before someone comes along and mentions "MSFS", another object of uninformed comment. Actually, I did read the published product specifications prior to posting. If you knew me, you will also know that I never post without knowledge. Out-of-hand condemnation indeed. There is distinct difference between lack of knowledge and error. March 11, 20206 yr I read this: Quote With all that nice VC work and PBR, it had better have a windshield rain effect. JF are known for doing all kinds of good work and then leaving out that key immersive component for a modern-day add-on. Let's hope they do it here. and this and evidently made the mistake of thinking that it had not been read. Apologies for that. Edited March 11, 20206 yr by Reader

I have kind of been fixated on (and spoiled by) the rain effect ever since TrueGlass appeared, and later the A2A and PMDG implementations. So when I say something like "it has to have it", know that I'm speaking from the standpoint of my own vain impulses, not from the standpoint that, "if it doesn't have it, it's rubbish". On the contrary, I hold JF in high regard. They're a great flight sim company and I especially like how they will model British aircraft that no one else will touch (Avro Vulcan, for example).
