March 16, 20206 yr I'm using SOP 2. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these 2 issues. Upon gate arrival and shutting down #2 engine, the FO always announces "we don't have a power source". I always thought that this was an information message reminding me to turn it on. I used it as a clue that the ground power light was about to come on. At that point, I look up to that panel (usually just in time to see the gnd pwr light come on) and flip the switch. I just happened to be looking at the ground power switch when he said that on my last flight and I noticed that he is actually flipping the ground power switch when he tells me that we don't have a power source. The ground power switch lights up approx. 3 seconds after he tries to turn it on. If FO is supposed to be turning on the ground power, he needs to wait a a few seconds longer before trying. I think I tried everything but maybe I am missing an option somewhere? The ground power cart never comes. I just haven't been able to get it to appear. Ever. Anyone have any suggestions? I can call it through the FMS. This behavior applies to all liveries (I have all the North American liveries installed) and models... March 16, 20206 yr Commercial Member This is because PMDG changed the GPU... it takes a few seconds extra now to arrive now. We're adjusting this for the next update. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 16, 20206 yr Author Thanks, Bryan! I'll stop trying to fix it. I didn't see any forum posts about this so I assumed that it was working for everyone else. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
March 16, 20206 yr for the arrival i tell him we are using the gpu cart, i always just turn on the apu after getting off the runway, and once the gpu is connected i turn off the apu. saves the hassle, ive already asked about this cause i tried many different things to get it to work lol
March 16, 20206 yr Author I've just been turning on the ground power by hand. Like I said, I thought he was just telling me that the ground crew hadn't connected it yet. It's always been ready to turn on when I look up at the switch to manually turn it on. I didn't realize that it was "broken" until I looked at the switch before he said that and saw that he was actually trying to turn it on. I see that Bryan's been pounding out updates on all of his products lately, so we'll get our slot in the rotation soon. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440

Correct... we've been doing an update at least once a week for our entire produce line! B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
