March 22, 20206 yr Commercial Member Paro - Kathmandu Adventure. VQPR - VNKT IĀ continue testing the use of modern avionics on a classic airliner. Now fly in difficult high-altitude mountains area. In addition to the GTN750, an improved PDCS now works. The modern firmware of the old device already allows me to even maintain a descend profile with deviations, but there are still many tests ahead. š So, we fly to Kathmandu and make a landing on RW20 with a short circle. Flights to NZ are very interesting. And Yes, I fly with a CaptainSim 737 and my friend and I are trying to improve it to enjoy flying. Now we are making PDCS, it will not be an exact copy of the original device, but our device will be a little more modern, it is like a retrofit of the old device. We already have the corrected aerodynamics and the engine characteristics for CS732 model correspond to the real aircraft, that is, the EPR settings allows you to fly in accordance with the FCOM. And our version of PDCS, will help the entire flight, especially on the descent with the calculated profile. When the device is ready, when all our tests will satisfy us, then I will be able to give our work for free via personal messages. If someone else loves the old classic airliners as much as we do, be in touch, write to the PM. March 22, 20206 yr Nick: A great way to enhance (SIM) experience from this (CS) Classic (one of the best, for sure)...! The PDCS and GTN750 integrations in the VC look neat...And, your choice of flight, here, between two challenging/mountainous airports with these upgraded avionics...I can tell...must be quite enjoyable... [BTW, I've visted Kathmandu airport/city once, a long long time ago, but fresh in my mind still...!]
