Probably not!  P3D is more graphics intensive than FSX.  You will also need a faster CPU.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Yes, it probably will run it, but don't expect it to be flying along like some heavyweight desktop with a dedicated GPU. I can run P3D V4 on my laptop reasonably well (better than I thought it would to be honest) and I would say it has worse specs than yours. Mine is maybe 18 months old, cost me something like 400 quid or so and is the following make and specs:

Lenovo ideapad 320: Windows 10, AMD A4 processor (K15 Stoney Ridge 1995.95 Mhz) 4 Gb DDR4 memory, AMD Radeon R3 graphics, which are Core 200 Mhz and 666 Mhz in size.

So that is not exactly a flying machine, but trust me, it runs P3D V4 okay. If it had not, I would not have bothered to buy a second license for P3D specifically for that laptop, which I did, so that must tell you something. Now granted, I don't exactly have the graphics sliders all maxed out on the thing, but neither are they all on the left. I think most people would be genuinely surprised to see it running P3D as well as it does.

Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Im not a computer guru by all means, but going off my past experience on the systems I was previously using For p3d( and previous msfs versions) prior to my small upgrade, I would say you will struggle. I’d venture to say unless you are planning to fly in clear weather, at strictly default airports, and using default GA aircraft, you may be able to marginally run it (if it even runs). Would it be an enjoyable experience for you and your current system, probably not.

Again based on my past experience with Flight simulators, I’d hold off until you have something a little better, the on-board graphics alone will give you a rough go, let alone the rest of the system.

P.S not trying to be demeaning or negative, I’ve been simming since msfs 95 and have always seemed to be behind the performance curve in all my sims When it comes to hardware, just recently got a system that’s ok (not great but just ok) and would say to just hold off until you can make minor upgrades, I don’t think you need to spend thousands of dollars but simple upgrades may work to give you an ok experience.
