Thanks Bert! My new private ride....

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Bert and his tireless efforts to make our Carenado birds more realistic to fly!

I'll be installing his mods today and taking my shiny new PC-12 out for a real flight (these pics just showing the paintjob I'll be flying...yes...its 851BT....not to be confused with 851TB) 😁

Lifting off from Tampa's 01R on a circuit to dry the paint.

Yes, thanks to Bert and Autogyro the Carenado PC-12 is one of my all-time favorites as well!

I can also highly recommend Bernt's FDE update for the PC-12. Especially the realistic startup is an excellent improvement.

That's a great looking livery!

Thanks Tim!  Just got Bernt's FDE and will install.

The paint is just a simple adjustment layer to change the color of an existing repaint (texture.6 in this case) plus a different reg of course.

Not brave enough to attempt one from scratch just yet...really don't want to focus on painting this one like I have other airframes in the past.  There is one air ambulance I'm looking at though that I'd like to fly and it seems like a simple paint. So if I decide to paint that one I'll of course share it.

Was looking at the DC4 after I got the email from JustFlight about the sale on it.  Your DC-4 paints are making it hard for me to resist it....but OMG I have so many planes I've bought and have not even flown yet.  Need to promise to at least fly them before I get a new one (bet nobody reading this has the same issue, LOL)

Nope, it's only you.  You're a freak of nature.  Of course when I read the subject line I thought "OOOH - somebody released a C130J "Fat Albert" - gotta have!"  (Yes, they're finally getting a "J")

Ah, that's interesting. I never took notice of that particular livery. Probably because of its odd color. Your modification makes a big difference. I really like the green color
