How do I get rid of Reshade v4.5.4?

Featured Replies

I see no reshade folder in the XP11 root folder. I see no other files that would account for the black (Reshade as been successfully installed...bar...of which I can NOT get rid of....and I have no HOME button.

Where is this installation hiding in my root folder?

I want it gone....thanks.

First, did you point the installer to the xplane 11 folder? Did you choose vulcan? You can try to re-install just to see where it puts the files.

You can also do a search on your computer. I have not tried reshade yet. I was too mesmerized with the smoothness & performance of my new sim to just finally enjoy TE Florida in the Miami area. Prior to 11.50, it was a slide show with the current settings. Now it's 25-30 fps and smooth as silk.

BTW, reshade includes vulcan support, so it should work in XP 11.50.

Hi Jose...my first installation was faulty.  Second was fine.   Am enjoying it.  Try CURVES...wow...smooths everything right out...and looks great!

This post is now quite redundant.  I had a bad first install....did a second install...and now LOVE IT!   So...as they say,   "You can lead a horse to water...and it will in some cases, drink", lol!

Cheers,
