Just by turning off Special Effects Animations to MediumNow I have everything else at Max, (apart from Clouds), and getting 80+fps !Mark.

Usually such tips are deserving of a screenshot and system specs.-John

>getting 80+fps !80 "plus" ?/ does that mean 81 ?or 79?anyway Im gettin 450 fps playing four instances of FSX on a P1 133MHz laptoprightI dont believe you one hoot

When i run FSX i turn off my monitor and imagine the scenery !I get 1200fps and amazing detail !I think i will sell fsx and my pc, and just run a hairdryer and close my eyes for a flight sim experience that's above everything else. Nevermind the amazing fps !;)

I'm getting 30 fps with everything maxed (in my dreams)

my mistake - sorry everyone.I did actually update my post as soon as I realised my error - but it didn't update for some reason ?anyway - I had ATI CCC running in the background, fraps for some reason decided to take the frame rate from that (it simulates the effects of AA etc) - rather than FSX. IE it displayed the ATI CCC frame rate within FSX !OoopsMark.

OH YEAH??? I just tweaked my FSX and put in a HAx0R3d c4mp1nG N00b in 1t!1!111one. I G3Ts 2474FPS!!1!V1R0T4T3!!!111

So what fps were you really getting in FSX?
