Pushback Turn

Featured Replies

Tried to look for another similiar post, but couldn't find one.Shift P 1 or 2 doesn't seem to turn the aircraft any longer (From FS9).Is there another command or is it gone?

Hmm still won't turn for me.

hee Bill Which is exactly what my new FSX pushback gauge solves (as in FS9 :-) )And I really can't get enough of seeing my gauge interact with the pushback tugs as it does now.Really a great visual/audible gimmick. That alone made buying FSX worth every penny for me :-)Cheers, Rob

It's also important to remember that after you are in pushback, and have pressed 1 or 2, the aircraft will still continue to travel straight back it's own length before it begins the return. Also, as stated above, remember not to change views or location in that view during pushback.

I've sat in the Cockpit and tried it, Spot View and tried it, no go here. It just pushes straight back and won't turn no matter how long I let it go for. Also, if it's true that you can't change views or even rotate a view during Pushback, that is dumb change for MS to make.>It's also important to remember that after you are in>pushback, and have pressed 1 or 2, the aircraft will still>continue to travel straight back it's own length before it>begins the return. Rob where can we find the pushback gauge ??

Rob,Great news - I have used it in all my heavy FS9 add-on aircraft and it will be the first of my FSX add-ons.Many thanksJohn R

Wonderfull Rob looking forward to it.

Hope you post when it's done and ready.

If it helps:Another cause might be: if you have an unregistered version of FSUIPC installed (don't know about registered), V4.0.0 or V4.0.1.Pete Dowson has found the problem, and solved it.(his truly great support keeps amazing me !)Will be updated in the next version of FSUIPC (probably this weekend)Cheers, Rob

well we are patiently awaiting your pushback gauge

That was it, thanks for posting this.>If it helps:>>Another cause might be: if you have an unregistered version of>FSUIPC installed (don't know about registered), V4.0.0 or>V4.0.1.>>Pete Dowson has found the problem, and solved it.>(his truly great support keeps amazing me !)>Will be updated in the next version of FSUIPC (probably this>weekend)>>Cheers, Rob>>

Just an FYI, after removing FSUIPC (since that was the cause), I can pushback and turn even while switching views, just like in FS9. So not sure where that info came from.>>It works PRECISELY the same as FS9 does. You cannot>switch views between pushing Shift-P and pressing 1 or 2...
