May 4, 20206 yr Hi, I have a curious problem. I cannot fly, not even load a plane on my fresh installed P3D V5.024 when I want to start from Europe. I only installed V5 compaible addons (nearly all Orbx regions, and some airports. Yesterday I could fly KIAD to ESSA with a QW787 without any problem. This morning, I would revert the fly (ESSA KIAD). I can just load my AC, see that I use about 3.2 Go of VRAM, then CTD. Have I done something wrong? Is there a problem with P3D, with Orbx? I would find a solution, but after 3 days, I give up and ak for help. Thank's Yves Yves SAMUEL ELLX
May 4, 20206 yr Hi Yves, one thing that can sometimes solve kernalbase.dll crashes is to ensure that permissions are set for all folders being used by P3D to ensure all users have rights to the folders. That’s all P3D folders, addon folders etc. That can sometimes fix them, but they are notoriously hard to track down...speaking from experience! May 4, 20206 yr Well, you say that you only installed v5 compatible addons, but from what I understand, the QW787 is not officially compatible yet. Can you load your flight with a default aircraft? May 4, 20206 yr Kernellbase errors are very difficult to track. Given that you most probably don't have yet too many addons installed, I would suggest a clean re-install of P3Dv5, manually deleting all remains from your current installation. As Benjamin said, make sure you don't have any v5 non-compatible addons installed. Look also to the AVSIM CTD Guide. You can find this guide at the top right side of the AVSIM's front page, under the Hot Spots section. Good luck. Yhank's Yves As I said, I don't think the QW787 is v5 compatible yet - it doesn't matter what else you might have installed if the addon you are trying to use in this flight is not compatible. So, like I asked before: can you load your flight with a default P3Dv5 aircraft? If yes, your problem is probably the QW787. May 5, 20206 yr Author Hi, I did not give any answer untill now because I was very busy, and because I wanted to find out my problem. And I found it : 2 weeks ago I formated my PC and the SSD on which P3D is stored. And yesterday I discovered that I did not have the correct authorisations on it. So I reformated my PC and the SSD. Before installing P3D I verified the authorizatiosn and gave them to everybody. I reinstalling everything, I could fly. Just landed at CYUL coming from LOWW with the QW787 without any problem.
