Hello,

Just bought the UGCX and I notice that with the PMDG 737NGXu and 747-400, the nose steering wheel is not following the tow bar direction while turning during pushback. It keep 0deg orientation. Is there any specific setting to adjust ?

Are you using a 3rd party tiller?

Not sure of the meaning of 3rd party tiller, but I control the tiller using the twist axis of my joystick (FSUIPC), and I have rudder pedal for the rudder.

If you do a forum search, you'll see some discussion on how to deal with this issue.  But your tiller is essentially over-riding our attempts to move the nosewheel.  I forget if turning off the hydraulics in the 737 makes a difference.

However, I'm testing V2.0 of UGCX now.  It offers an additional pushback method option for the PMDG and Majestic Dash 8.  It basically involves us moving the aircraft via slewing (this is what GSX does), rather that physically pushing it.

Send me a support ticket via: www.fs2crew.com if you'd like to try it out, but it the nose wheel won't turn if using it.

Thank for quick reply, I found the answer of the problem by searching with tiller keyword : the “tiller” mode on PMDG is well activated on my side, so I’ll try with “Rudder”.

I’ll think about your proposal for v2.0 as well

Otherwise, Great product ! I was a bit hesitating as I’m using GSX for a while, but I have to say that once everything is setup, the voice control is really convenient !
Maybe one suggestion : how about png or dds format for custom logo, that would allow transparency ?

If you set the tiller mode to "rudder", you no longer can use the joystick-assigned axis in PMDG's 737 as a tiller. 

Just made a test with both 737 and 747 (latest version from yesterday), the option is well set on "RUDDER" and still the same behavior... 🤔 Anyway I'll keep it like this, it not blocking issue for me.
