Pilatus PC-9/A over Northern Aust and USA West

Featured Replies

I've found myself some what infactuated with the Pilatus PC-9/A.

Had the plane in FSX-SE but never really flew it much, then again FSX never had the performance of P3D x64

However since purchasing the PC-21 I thought I'd get its older sibling up and running in P3D v4.5 HF3.

Unfortunately 3 of the dlls are x86, the first being the sound, that was a Doug Dawson standard and easily fixed, of the other two one is a fuel dump (a modified Doug Dawson) so no drop in replacement there and the third is a custom Axis control for the throttles.

However apart from those last two items it all works pretty great and is a blast to fly, both fast and manoverable and has an avionics and gauge set that doesn't require spending ages learning, I should have spent more time in it on FSX-SE.

Beautiful shots...of this nice plane...!

I recall this plane well from FSX, but, your wait, here, to, fully, make use of it, on P3D, seems to have been worth it..!! The GTN 750 looks good...!

Thanks for posting!

Yes, I am enjoying this plane 🙂

Just fixed up the lighting too.

Below is the plane before I fixed the lighting, not much to see and certainly couldn't see the runway at night what with those two white dots of landing/taxi lights..

And this is post fixing the lighting (This video link shows it a bit better).

Link to Animated PNG

Although I tried to insert an animated PNG, google is apparently not a platform that is accepted for embeding, so a link it is.
