June 18, 20205 yr The one and only....Mriya.....!! I recall, someone, here, had once mentioned...of being a witness to its lift-off, at some Airport....it must have been a sight...! That "thing" goes around a bit. I read, just now, it was in Anchorage, a couple of months ago, on a noble cause, "The world’s largest cargo plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, landed in Anchorage on Thursday, April 30, 2020, for a layover while transporting medical supplies. The aircraft was transporting medical supplies to Canada during the pandemic." Thanks for posting...!
June 19, 20205 yr It’s done a few trips from Anchorage to Toronto and Montreal Mirabel under contract with Nolinor...i keep hoping it will go East after Montreal on the slim chance it will fly over my house but it always heads back to Anchorage.
