June 21, 20205 yr Hello everyone, when I attempt to run a repair on V5, the installer prompts me to open the v5 setup, and quits when I cancel the opening of the file. June 22, 20205 yr Moderator When you select repair it asks you to find the p3d setup file? It should run that automatically. What happens when you don't close setup and let it run? IIRC., when you select repair. P3D auto runs setup with the repair option which essentially verifies files. Need more info as to how you are running repair. So, I downloaded the the file and select it when it prompts me to open it. Then the repair commences and completes. Not sure why this happens. Thank you for the reply. Regards, Shelman S. June 22, 20205 yr You didn't answer Vic's question. Glad you got it sorted out. There are several ways to run the installer repair function, and the method chosen may have different reasons for going wrong. Dan Downs KCRP

I'm not sure if the link to the screenshots from the Imgur link I posted is being displayed. But the method I used to repair is through the add/remove programs function on Windows 10. I selected P3dv5 Professional and attempted to "modify," which then attempts to repair. Anyways, I downloaded and ran the setup file when prompted, and it worked. Thanks, Vic and Dan, for the assistance. Edited June 22, 20205 yr by ssair1 Regards, Shelman S.
