Beautiful "Metal" TRANSAERO DC-10-30...!

And, I see you're crossing the Rockies, soon enough, on your way,...(nice pictures)...!!

[BTW, could you tell me the source(FW/PW)/developer of this DC-10 SIM...thanks...?]

Thanks...! Before my years of break, between FSX and FSX:SE, I recall, I used to own this on DVD, but somehow, lost it on the way (and never made up this SIM)...

This livery looks nice.

I knew about Transaero (Russia), but, didn't know it ceased operations in 2015...and, one other thing, about it, struck me, "In its 25-year history, Transaero never had an accident resulting in loss of life or a hull loss...". So, it needs more than just safety record to survive in this tough business...!

Patrick: Yes, the variation of landscape and terrain is quite apparent in these images....between the plains and the mountains.....!

Daedalus:

I have travelled (pax) the (Denver <-> Seattle) route once...(not in a DC-10, though)...🙂...it was actually "TED", a (former) division of "United" Airlines,...the plane was an A320...(On checking today, I find that "TED" has now disappeared, having been folded back into the United Airlines)...

Many moons ago, in one of my two trips to Seattle, I'd deliberately chosen an one-stop (round) trip from Chicago...via Denver International...(those days, if possible, I would choose an one-stop (vs. direct) route, if possible, because, often, it (being less in demand) would give me more flexibility in selection, and also, afford a chance to see a new Airport....

When we were circling to land in Denver, I clearly recall, seeing, for the first time, those strange tent-like (white) roof structures of the Denver Airport...(btw, I also recall it was a great Airport to while away a couple of hours of transit time)...All those are part of distant memory now, airplane flights were second nature to me...(now, we'll have to wait and see)...

Anyway, Daedalus, thanks for this (nice) series of SIM pictures...!!
