Is this file present?

C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\gauges\FS2CrewCRJ64.gau

Also, some people, against my advice, manually ported the P3D V4 version of FS2Crew into P3D V5.

That can trip up the P3D V5 config manager.

If you did that, manually delete this file in the P3D v5 folder:

FS2Crew2010\Versions\AirbusLabs\VersionCheck\p3d.dat

If that file is present, the P3D V5 config manager will add the entries to the V4 panel.cfg file, and obviously you don't want that to happen.

When you installed FS2Crew, did the installer correctly auto-detect where your P3D V5 folder is?

It sounds like it didn't (FS2Crew needs to be installed in your main P3D folder, no where else).

Either that, or maybe your anti-virus program nuked it.

Ensure your anti-virus program is excluding the P3D folder.

I’m going to try and add it manually to the panel CFG see if it works I was reading that in another thread

Anyway I added it manually and it’s working
