FSX Animals

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen any animals in FSX at all?! I've been flying around Africa the past week and haven't seen a single animal! Someone suggested I try flying off the coast of Honolulu, Hawaii and sure enough, I saw a few birds circling above a cruise ship parked there. However, searching in Africa I can't find the lions 'n, tigers 'n, bears, oh my! Where are they?!

not there, at all, unless you fly the relevant missions apparently. In freeflight you're out of luck. So much for the 'immersive living world' eh?

Maybe one of the add on developers will give us animals outside of the missions.

Hope so, looks as though one has already sorted the European desert out and planted some grass seeds.

I've seen birds flying around a boat in Hawaii in free flight. I believe they are supposed to be there in free flight, but your settings have to be high enough (no idea where that is, I thought it was scenery had to be on dense though).

You need to have "Advanced Animations" box checked under your scenery settings to see people & animals. Even with this checked, I havent seen any in free flight.Jim

Nice video!

Hi Vincent. I went there and did not see any coordinates. Would you please list the coordinates here in English. Also what are the coordinates for the elephants seen in the GREAT video. Thanks and best regards, Bob.

Yea a cow crossing the runway on that rural airport would be a nice touch. Or maybe a bird in the intake or a hit on the windshield. Ah, maybe just some better frames LOL.Bob

Maybe the Eagles are eating them :DMy personal theory on animals is that in revenge for the moaning about the size of the trees in FS9 they decided to make the animals so small we can't see them :)Andrew Brown192029.png
