Large stutters - during Instant Replay only

Featured Replies

I also had this problem in FS9, but I don't think it was as bad.I just completed a terrific flight from KSEA to KCLM. I even turned-up Autogen to Extremely Dense to see the trees along the mountains - beautiful! And, my FPS was averaging around 25 FPS (after leaving the KSEA area around the airport of course).Anyway, after landing at KCLM, I did the Instant Replay. For some reason, in all views (except Tower view), I would get large stutters, like the camera was shaking every 2 seconds.Anyone have an idea on how to fix this?JerryG

I hope there is a fix too. Very big stutters the same as you discribe.....

I have it also, but it is purely random. It doesn't make sense to me. I tried to watch a replay of a landing I did at Portsmouth, NH and the spotter view was constantly jumping back and forth. Later on in the same session I watched a landing in Concord, NH and it was smooth as silk in the spotter view. Same plane same session. Terrain if anything is more complex in Concord. More water in Portsmouth. I'll have to see if it's the water.Bruce

Anyone else have this problem (or _not_ have this problem)?JerryG

Yep have the same problem. Really annoying if you ask me.James

Yep ... same here. Can get fine original flight, but replay can often give terribly jerky motion. I think I read that it is a graphic card related problem (with memory). I guess that means my 256 Meg PCIE card needs to be upped to 512? What a requirement for everyone on that.Any other ideas/suggestions out there?

Yup same here, only it isn't random for me, it always stutters in instant replay spot view. $5 says it's SimConnect (my new fs module whipping boy) causing it, but of course I have no evidence of that. ;)

Same here with me. Stutters galore in replay spot view. But, no stutters at all otherwise (hooray!).Doug

Try a fixed view for outside view. That solved the problem for me. You can pan in fixed view.Jim Jones

Per the request of the ACES team, I sent them an Email with the details listed in my original post.JerryG
