Hi guys: Why when I hit Alt to place the menu I can't just hit it again to remove it??? How do I remove it??? I tried to drop the eyepoint view to see the runway while landing. The old trick (in FS-2004) doesn't work anymore. How do I do it now??? Why hasn't anybody written a FAQ for FSX yet??? Tweaks and tricks are okay but more complicated than where is the Aircraft folder and things of that nature. I found it by the way but it will be helpful to have it in a FAQ.Cheers,MABx(

Well, here's a radical suggestion......why not press Help/Learning Center in FSX and try reading the manual? ;)

>Well, here's a radical suggestion...>>...why not press Help/Learning Center in FSX and try reading>the manual? ;) No, the real radical suggestion is for you not to answer anything that you might think (loosely used) trivial. But using your own argument, you would find that it should be identical as in FS9 but it doesn't work at all or at least for me. That is the reason I come to this Forum, for good and honest answers and help (from really good people) not for stupid remarks like yours.MAB PS: The question about the "Eyepoint view" adjustment is still opened. Thanks.

Hi MABx,Thanks for asking this question about the menu. I've been trying to figure it out too.flykingVirtual AviatorSystem Specs:XP PRO SP2AMD Athlon 64 2413MHzNVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT, 256MBMemory: 2048MBSB Audigy 2 ZS Audio

>Well, here's a radical suggestion...>>...why not press Help/Learning Center in FSX and try reading>the manual? ;)Another uncalled for remark with no help attached....How about this instead....In the learning center, under Index, Choose M, then Menu, it states:To display/hide the menu barPress the ALT key. It DOES NOT however, state that when you press Alt Key to display the menu, it is immediate, but on some systems when you press the ALT key to Hide the menu, a quick hit will not work like it does when opening it, and there is a minuscule delay and one must hold down the ALT key on some systems longer, my case about a second. And others are experiencing the same concern. So maybe next time, you will acknowledge that others experiences with the program may actually differ from your ALLEGED perfect FS world.Nothing in the Learning center alludes to his problem that I found, and he already stated he hit the ALT Key to display it.So if one were to do such a radical suggestion as reading the manual, in this case, it is uncalled for, much like your comment.

Hi guys: Moving right along I hope someone can tell us how or why the eyepoint view doesn't seems to work as per the manual which it is by the way the same way as in FS9. I am not able to land in 2D without it. I can do it in 3D but that doesn't answer the question. Cheers,MAB
