July 27, 20205 yr Does P2ATC know where terrain is? I fly into many small airports with no established approaches, and often P2ATC will vector me into terrain if I let it. I know it probably can't see the terrain, but I want to make sure there isn't a setting somewhere to avoid this.
July 27, 20205 yr That's not a bug, it's a feature - it's accurately simulating Spanish Air Traffic Control. 🤣 Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here
July 27, 20205 yr Commercial Member If there are no approaches into an airport, P2A doesn't really have any way of knowing how to vector you to avoid mountainous terrain. You can get vectors to a Visual Straight-In, but best to see and avoid terrain. This is not a problem in flat terrain.
July 27, 20205 yr Author I figured as much. If the terrain is flat, no problems, it's only the mountains that get in my way! Thanks!
