October 23, 200619 yr I haven't seen any posts about this, but how do you activate the autobrake in the A321?Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
October 23, 200619 yr i couldnt find it in the A321 Virtual Cockpit. In fact, try this, go into the 737-800 virtual cockpit and try to turn the autobrake knob. it wont turn for me!
October 23, 200619 yr I can activate the 737-800 autobrake in the 2d oanel easily but not at all in the A321 2D panel in the pop up.Odd:-hmmm Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
October 23, 200619 yr The 737 autobrake knob is a bug. I haven't found the A321 autobrake either. Quite a lot of these very easy to find bugs actually. Another example is that you can't change the ECAM pages from the 3d cockpit pop-up. You have to go to 2d to open an identical looking pop-up to change them!
October 23, 200619 yr In the "gear popup window" there seems to be an autobrake, but I think it's just a picture. There is no other gauge in the panel.cfg for that window than the gear handle. Searching the FSX gauges does not show anything that looks like an Airbus autobrake.Did MS just forgot to add it? Finally they have an Airbus in FS, do they forget the autobrake. :-madJozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
October 23, 200619 yr Hey fellasLast night I was reading the A321 flight notes (FSX learning center), and I think I read something about that you have first activate autobrake BEFORE the switch will work. Take a look at that first. I am not at home right now so I can't confirm that, but check the help file for the A321...RhettAMD 3700+ (@2.5 ghz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (94.47), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
October 24, 200619 yr Hi Rhett,Took your advice, but found nothing in the Learning Center about the A321 autobrake. Are you perhaps talking about the spoiler? "If you armed the spoilers, they will deploy automatically. If not, move the brake lever into the UP position now."Jozef K. http://homepages.onsnet.nu/~jkusters/signature.jpg
