Returning to Flight sim after years.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm coming back to simming after about 14 years off !  I've just bought a Cessna 340 forward fuselage to use as my new sim. I used to own a fully converted Beechcraft Queenair that had a full panel of Simkits instruments and my own modified elite avionics stack as well as all the original controls interfaced and a Projector for the external view. Then I had a Fokker F27 and an AV8B, but somehow I lost interest.  Now I'm playing catch up on all the changes in tech etc in all those years.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Welcome back to Avsim. Lots of changes in 14 years, but you're in on the ground floor with everyone else as far as the latest MS sim goes, so that's good timing. 🙂
