Hi

During the sale i brought the PMDG 737 NGXu and FS2CREW (don't tell the wife lol) … I just have one issue with it, I normally enable LNAV on the ground and this was read back by the FO …(using SP2 and button version) but after take off I see HEADING in the green bar (i thought this appeared with the AP off) , was expecting  options for VNAV etc, i used departure procedure 2 … Everything else seems to go fine., am i doing anything wrong?

Hi Rich,

Heading is just an option... you don't need to select it if it's in the green bar.  It should auto extinguish when the next option becomes available.

There's no option for VNAV.

In most cases you're going to have the autopilot on by that point... when the AP is on controlling the MCP is the Pilot Flying's job, not the PMs.

So you'd press VNAV yourself.
