August 17, 20205 yr Using an Xbox controller, the LT and RT analog triggers are handled as digital inputs. This means even the slightest pressure on the trigger gives full rudder. There is a "rudder axis" entry in the control config which is an analog input, but I can only assign one of the triggers to this. And regardless if it is the left or right trigger, it will only push the rudder left. Is there something I'm missing on how to assign left trigger to analog rudder left and right trigger to analog rudder right? Is there maybe a control config file I could do this in if I can't do it through the remapper?
August 18, 20205 yr This was an issue in Alpha/Beta and some of us were hoping we would see a change in production. I guess we'll have to keep complaining about it and put in reports to Zendesk.
August 18, 20205 yr Triggers are either on or off. I was never able to resolve this for the past few months so ended up buying Saitek Pro Flight pedals which are analogue, all is now ok.

A rudder can be used for anything you'd normally use a rudder for in flight, but there is no adverse yaw modeled. PMDG won't care one tiny little bit because all their aircraft have yaw dampers. Everything else you'd use rudders are for are modeled. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
